Configuration covers more than it used to. When it stops covering what you need, the question is whether the gap is worth custom code — and if it is, whether that code will still be maintainable in three years.
We build in manageable increments, tested against real scenarios, with regular review from the people who will use the result. Short cycles are not a speed claim; they are how a specification that was wrong gets found in week three rather than at go-live.
In practice we use the platform’s no-code designers for interface assembly and write code for the heavy backend logic and the structure underneath it. Which is which is a judgment about maintenance rather than about tooling.
Modern tools, accountable delivery
We use AI coding agents in this work. They are genuinely good at generating components against a platform’s own data model and UI framework, which is where general coding assistants used to fall down — reconciling fragments that did not belong to the application is where the theoretical time saving went.
What they do not replace is architecture, testing or responsibility. The trade-off is consistent wherever it is measured: faster generation moves effort into review and verification rather than removing it (where the 10x figure comes from, and where it stops). We choose the tool for the task and validate the result against your requirements, and the accountability for what ships is ours either way.
What the speed does not compress is the decisions, and getting those wrong is the expensive part.

Both, and the split matters. Creatio AI Studio, which arrived with the 10x release in July 2026, manages the agent lifecycle inside the platform: instructions in the Prompt Agent Designer, multi-step processes in the Workflow Agent Designer, plus policy, approvals, execution monitoring and an audit trail. If the work is CRM work it belongs there, and we configure it for you.
Where the work runs outside Creatio we build on Google Vertex AI and connect back over Model Context Protocol (MCP) or REST. Either way the agent is scoped to one task and grounded in your live records — a generalist chatbot pointed at a CRM schema misreads it and exposes data nobody meant to share.
One caveat: Creatio AI Studio ships with the 10x release. On an earlier version, adopting it means planning an upgrade, and we scope that in Discovery rather than leaving you to find it later.
When the platform’s own designers cannot express the rule, the interface or the integration without a workaround that somebody will have to maintain forever. We try the configured route first — it is cheaper to own — and move to code when the workaround would cost more than the code.
What we build sits inside the platform’s extension model where one exists, so an upgrade does not break it.
